Ways to Donate
Your generous donation to Culver Palms Meals on Wheels will help feed our seniors living on the Westside of Los Angeles between Pico Blvd and LAX. Even the most independent among us, if fortunate to live long enough, may experience a decline in mobility or health that can strip away our independence and diminish the quality of our lives. Our nutritious meals and friendly visits help our clients cope with three of the biggest threats of aging: hunger, isolation, and loss of independence.
While most of our clients pay a nominal fee for meals, we offer a sliding scale for those who cannot afford to contribute. We do not receive direct federal funding, so to keep client fees to a minimum, we rely on the generosity of our donors.
Culver Palms Meals on Wheels provides the ability for our community to care for our aging neighbors efficiently and compassionately. Please consider adopting a person in need for a day, week, month, or year.

You can help ensure that the most vulnerable homebound individuals we serve will receive the nutrition and social interaction they need.

Many of the seniors we serve are over 75 years old and barely get by on small, fixed incomes. They are experiencing skyrocketing rents or increased property taxes, isolation, and worry from the high inflation rate. Donating monthly saves time, but it also helps us monitor and plan out our resources to focus on the individual needs of our clients.

Special birthday or anniversary? Maybe a gift for someone who has everything? When we receive your donation, we will mail an appropriate note to the honoree or family acknowledging that we have received a generous donation in their honor from you. Click on the “+ Add a note” button in the PayPal window and insert text, for example, “In Memory of Betty Smith”.

By asking your employer about matching contributions (usually the human resource department), you can increase the impact of your donation and provide more healthy meals for our seniors.

Auction Items: Culver Palms Meals on Wheels is happy to accept items that can be auctioned or raffled off at our events for fundraising purposes.
Gift Bag Items: Culver Palms Meals on Wheels and our community of generous volunteers deliver a unique gift bag to our seniors for birthdays, some holidays, and in times of need. We love to brighten the day of those we provide meals to.
Office Supplies: Another option that helps us is donating office expenses. We can then use that budgeted money and divert it to purchase food for those who cannot afford meals.

Ralphs: Put your grocery dollars to work! This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Ralphs and swipe your Shopper’s Card.
